Quality is a way of life for the highly trained SVEM team. In addition, we use the latest equipment and maintain an extensive quality control and inspection program.
At SVEM, we are dedicated to delivering Quality Products. We utilize a variety of CNC machinery equipment to deliver to our customers the precision they require and expect from us. Quality is a part of our culture and the foundation of our company. The majority of our customers are repeat or word-of-mouth, because we deliver on our promise. We will give you the precise part you need, on time, every time. All of our services are planned and controlled using a fully documented system. We offer full traceability from receipt of purchase order, through the floor processing to delivery of final product. All of the materials used are identified during receipt and certifications are always documented.
All components and assemblies at SVEM are thoroughly inspected and verified for compliance to each customer’s specifications and requirements, as we are a custom machine shop with unique orders to fill. First Article, In-process and final inspections are performed on each part and/or lot of parts to the appropriate AQL level. Documentation is produced and maintained per the requirements of each individual customer.
Our quality department adheres to stringent inspection standards. They ensure that all jobs, large and small, are processed with our uncompromising dedication to quality. Precision instruments are used for the inspection and verification of every product: digital bore-gages, .0001 micrometers, gage-blocks traceable to the National Standards, precise granite flat-rock inspection table, thread gages, and pins.
Raw materials are stored in an organized manner by type and closely controlled. All certified materials are clearly identified and cross referenced to an “MPM XXXX” number that corresponds to the MTR (mill test report) that is on file in the QA area. Customer supplied material (CSM) are also closely controlled and segregated. They are logged in upon receipt and all sizes, lengths and pertinent markings are recorded and documented. When the raw materials are supplied by the customer, excess stock is returned with the job unless declined by the customer.
